Dr. Fabian Justus Sanders, docent of Tibetan Language and Literature at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, provided most of the Sanskrit names and terms. The 84000 editorial team subsequently checked the translation against the Tibetan and the Chinese, and compiled the introduction using parts of the translators’ original material.

The translation was completed under the patronage and supervision of 84000: Translating the Words of the Buddha.
