第10章
“For the benefit of devas, asuras, and humans,
為了天神、阿修羅和人類的利益,
The Victor taught The Vidyādhara’s Basket ,
勝者教導了《明咒持有者的寶藏》,
Various types of vidyā and mantra
各種明咒和咒
Numbering thirty million, five hundred thousand.
數量達到三千萬五十萬之多。
“To conquer guhyakas
「要征服隱士
And remove poverty’s misery,
去除貧窮的痛苦,
I taught seventy million mantras
我傳授了七千萬條咒。
Along with their maṇḍalas and mudrās.
連同他們的壇城和印。
“I have described in detail all who belong to the vajra clan:
「我已詳細說明了所有屬於金剛部的眾生:
The ten dūtīs, the seven vidyā kings,
十位使者女神、七位明咒之王、
The sixty-four servants,
六十四位侍者,
My eight supreme essences,
我的八個至高本質,
The powerful lords of vidyās,
明咒的強大之主們,
Such as Amṛtakuṇḍalin and Vidyottama,
例如甘露瓶旋和明咒最勝,
And all who are aligned with their mantras.
以及所有與他們的咒相應的眾生。
“Avalokiteśvara has likewise taught mantras
觀音菩薩同樣也傳授了咒
Numbering three million, five hundred thousand,

Including his lord of vidyās Hayagrīva,

And the maṇḍalas that bear his name.

“Seven forms of Amoghapāśa are taught—

One with twelve arms, one with six, an uṣṇīṣa form,

One with a diadem, a fulfiller of wishes, and a four-faced form.

The mantras shine like seven suns upon the earth. [F.136.b]

These maṇḍalas and mantras of Hayagrīva

Grant people boons and are revered in the three worlds.

“Tārā, Śvetā, Pāṇḍaravāsinī,
度母、白母、白衣女,
Vipaśyinī, Ekajaṭā, Gaurī,
明見女、一髻母、高貴女、
Yaśovatī, and Bhṛkuṭī—
名聲女和眉間皺女——
These are the supreme vidyā queens of the lotus clan.
這些是蓮花部的至高明咒皇后。
“Within the vast system of mantra, train in Mekhalā,
「在廣大的咒體系中,修習腰帶女神,
Sovereign of vidyās and master of mantras,
明咒的主宰者,咒的統治者,
Who takes the form of these diverse maṇḍalas
誰以這些各種壇城的形相示現
And possesses the various types of mudrās.
並具備各種印。
“Her mantra grants people boons,
「她的咒賜予人們福報,
And even Pāñcika delights in her.
甚至般尼迦也為她歡喜。
Always in accord with that lord of yakṣas,
總是與那位夜叉之主相應。
Her words describe the collection of mantra.
她的言語描述了咒的集合。
“Pāñcika teaches twenty thousand;
「般尼迦傳授二萬咒;
His wife explains half of that.
他的妻子解釋其中的一半。
The lord of wealth teaches thirty thousand,
財寶之主教授三萬個咒。
While the father of Pūrṇa explains a hundred thousand.
而布施天女的父親則講解十萬。
“Devas, asuras, and the rest, who have faith in the Victor,
「天神、阿修羅等一切具有對勝者信心的眾生,
Have explained mantras infinite in number.
已解釋咒語無量無數。
Some are included within my clan,
有些被包含在我的部族中,
Some are included in the lotus clan,
有些被包含在蓮花部中,
Some are included in the jewel clan,
有些被納入寶部。
And yet others are circumstantial and variable.
還有其他的則是根據情況而變化的。
“The one named Māṇicara is said to be of the jewel clan,
「名叫摩尼手的被說是屬於寶部,」
I am declared to be of the so-called vajra clan,
我被宣稱屬於所謂的金剛部。
Avalokiteśvara is of the lotus clan,
觀音菩薩屬於蓮花部。
And Pāñcika is in the fourth clan.

“All I have explained in mantra scriptures
「我在咒經中所解釋的一切
Can be coordinated with these four.

However, some things are circumstantial,

And vary in dependence on the sugatas.

“Everything in this scripture

Can be used by those desiring wealth.

Mantrins who follow this specific path

Will attain the siddhis aligned with their mind.

“Within the three existences, the Victor is rare and supreme.
「在三界之中,勝者難得而至尊。
The Dharma then sprung from him,
此後法從他而生。
And his Saṅgha consisted of the eight great people.
他的僧團由八位大人物組成。
Within the three existences, the Three Jewels are preeminent.
在三界之中,三寶最為殊勝。
“Because these three are the cause of merit’s increase,
「因為這三者是功德增長的原因,
Those seeking siddhi should begin their mantras with: [F.137.a]
尋求成就的人應該開始他們的咒,其方式如下:
‘For the sake of merit and to confound vināyakas,
為了增長福德和困惑毘那夜迦,
I pay homage to Vajrapāṇi most fierce.’

“I, lord of yakṣas, have taught this,

Which is to be placed at the beginning of mantras.

It can govern one’s own mantra,

Even if it is of the jewel or lotus clan.

“Those who are not sugatas,
"那些不是善逝的人,
Who follow the paths of śrāvakas and pratyekabuddhas,
跟隨聲聞和辟支佛之道的人
Who are bereft of faith or are selfish and sanctimonious,
那些缺乏信心、自私自利且假裝虔誠的人,
Should never wield my vajra.
不應該執持我的金剛。
“Any monk, nun,
「任何比丘、比丘尼,
Male or female lay devotee,
無論男性或女性的在家信徒,
Or any worldly person
或任何世俗人士
Who is hostile to the supreme vehicle,
誰對至高乘法懷有敵意,
Says it is the teaching of māras,
說這是魔的教法,
In ignorance asserts that I am a yakṣa,
在無明中聲稱我是夜叉,
Or does not bow before a bodhisattva
或者不向菩薩頂禮
Will see their body swiftly destroyed
會快速看到他們的身體被摧毀
When they recite my mantras.

“The grahas who belong to my clan,

The bhūtas, yakṣas, nāgas, and piśācas too,

Will angrily bring them to ruin

When they see them reciting my mantra or bearing my vajra.

“Those who study the vast supreme vehicle,

Have faith in it, are enthusiastic in its explication,

Have great diligence, and are resolute in their bodhicitta
具備廣大的精進力,並對菩提心堅定不移
Will be granted the boons of my mantras.
將被賜予我咒語的福報。
“Broadly and extensively I have explained
我廣泛而詳盡地說明了
The mantras belonging to the awakened ones.
覺悟者的咒。
Listen now as I briefly explain
現在請諦聽,我簡要解說
Those that are of a worldly type.
那些屬於世間類型的。
“Rudra has taught ten million,
「盧陀羅教授了一千萬個,
Vāsudeva thirty thousand,
毗濕奴三萬。
Brahmā sixty thousand,
梵天六萬。
And Sūrya three hundred thousand.
太陽神教授了三十萬。
Garuḍa has taught eighteen thousand,
迦樓羅教授了一萬八千。
Caṇḍālī eight thousand,
烈女八千,
Agni seven hundred,
火神七百。
And Triśaṅku one thousand.
三角教授了一千。
The king of nāgas has taught five thousand,
龍王已教導五千。
Niśācarapati twelve thousand,
夜間統治者一萬二千,
And the four lords of the world
而且世間的四位主宰
Taught four thousand to benefit beings. [F.137.b]
為了利益眾生而傳授了四千部。
“Daityendra has taught two hundred thousand,
「阿修羅王教授了二十萬,
And Devendra three hundred thousand.
帝釋天傳授了三十萬。
The mantras have various mudrās and rites,
咒有各種印和儀軌,
And each has maṇḍalas from their respective treatise.
而各自擁有來自其各自論典的壇城。
“Those with faith in their own mantra scriptures
「那些對自己的咒經有信心的人
Will doubtlessly succeed as if without effort.
必然會輕而易舉地獲得成就。
When the opposite is true, siddhis are not obtained;
當情況相反時,成就是無法獲得的;
They will endure much suffering instead.”
他們反而會遭受許多痛苦。
