第七章

7.1“Now I will teach the supreme great maṇḍala.

7.1「現在我將傳授至高無上的壇城。

“It is four-sided and has four doors
「它四面四門
Surmounted by four portals.
由四個門戶聳立其上。
It has sixteen divisions and is adorned
它有十六個區域,並被裝飾得
With a perimeter wall of vajras.
用金剛圍牆作為周邊城牆。
“In its center one should place Great Wrath;
「其中央應安置大威德;
Fierce, he is surrounded by a halo of flames.
他凶悍無比,周身被火光圈所包圍。
He has four arms and shines with light
他有四隻手臂,發出光芒照耀
The color of collyrium.
黑粉的顏色。
“His right hand raises a vajra;
他的右手舉起金剛杵;
His left displays the threatening mudrā.
他的左手展示著威脅的手印。
His face is terrifying, his fangs bared;
他的面容令人恐怖,獠牙外露;
He is adorned with the eight nāgas.
他以八條龍作為莊嚴。
“Crowned with a row of skulls,
頭頂上戴著一排骷髏王冠,
He is capable of destroying the triple universe.
他能夠摧毀三界。
Laughing and roaring loudly,
放聲大笑咆哮,
He is the mighty lord of the triple universe.
他是三界的威力無邊的主宰。
“Standing astride Aparājita,
站立在無能勝之上,
His left leg is outstretched, his right slightly bent;
他的左腿伸展開來,右腿略微彎曲;
Blazing like a million suns,
熾盛如百萬個太陽,
He displays the following mudrā:
他展現以下手印:
“Folding in the ring fingers,
「將無名指彎折,
He bends both index fingers slightly.
他輕微地彎曲兩根食指。
The little and middle fingers
無名指和中指 被他的拇指所持。
Are held by his thumbs.
由雙手的大拇指握住。
“This mudrā is the most excellent, the best;
「這個手印最為殊勝,最為卓越;
It grants dominion over the triple universe.
它能夠賦予對三界的統治權。
“One should draw Umā’s husband
應當描繪烏摩女神的丈夫
In front of Great Wrath.
在大威德的前面。
To his right one should draw Viṣṇu,
在他的右邊應當畫毗濕奴。
And to his left Brahmā.
在其左邊應繪製梵天。
“In the north is Lord Kārttikeya,
在北方是韋陀天。
In the northeast, Gaṇapati,
在東北方,畫象頭天,
And in the southeast draw Āditya,
在東南方繪畫太陽天,
With a thousand rays.
具有千道光芒。
“In the southwest one should draw Rāhu,
在西南方應該畫羅睺,
And in the northwest, Lord Nandi.
在西北方,畫上濕婆的坐騎南迪。
“In the area within the outer maṇḍala
在外壇城的區域內
One should draw the offering goddesses.
應當繪畫供養女神。
They are of golden color,
她們具有金色的膚色,
And adorned with every kind of jewelry.
並且以各種珠寶裝飾。
“Smiling slightly,
「微微而笑,
They gaze passionately at the lord.
她們熱烈地凝視著那位尊主。
To the left of Great Wrath
在大威德的左邊
One should draw the goddess Umā. [F.246.a]
應該畫出烏摩女神。
“In front of Great Wrath one should draw
在大威德前方應當畫繪
The goddess Śrī with flowers in her hands.
手中持著花朵的吉祥天女。
To the right of Great Wrath
在大威德的右側
One should draw Tilottamā.
應該繪畫極嚴女。
“She holds incense in her hands
她手中持著香
And is adorned with every type of jewelry.
並用各種珠寶裝飾自身。
Behind Great Wrath
大威德之後
One should draw the goddess Śaśī.
應該描繪女神月女。
“She holds a lamp in her hand
她手中持著一盞燈
And wears divine earrings.
並戴著神聖的耳環。
In the southeast one should draw Devī,
在東南方應當繪製女神,
Wearing divine earrings.
戴著神聖的耳環。
“She holds a flask of perfume,
她手中拿著一瓶香水,
And is adorned with jewel ornaments.
並且以珠寶飾品裝飾。
In the southwest, one should draw
在西南方,應當繪製
The goddess Sarasvatī with a lute in her hands.
手中拿著琵琶的女神莎拉斯瓦蒂。
“She sings many songs, melodies, and the like,
她唱著許多歌曲、旋律等等,
Dances, and recites beautiful poetry.
舞蹈,並且吟誦優美的詩歌。
In the northwest one should draw a yakṣiṇī
在西北方應該畫一位藥叉女
Holding a jewel garland in her hands.
手中持著寶珠花鬘。
“Her name is Surasundarī,
她的名字叫天美女,
Known as the queen of all yakṣas.
被稱為所有藥叉的女王。
In the northeast one should draw Bhūti,
在東北方應該畫布提女神。
A bhūtinī who destroys poverty.
一位消除貧困的鬼女。
“A queen who rules over all spirits,
「統治所有靈體的女王,
She is bedecked in all kinds of jewelry.
她佩戴著各種珠寶飾物。
Draw her with a beautiful face and elongated eyes,
畫她擁有美麗的臉龐和細長的眼睛,
And endowed with beauty and youthfulness.
具有美麗和青春的特質。
“Golden in color,
金色的膚色,
Her curly hair blue,
她的捲髮呈青藍色,
This goddess, beautiful in every limb,
這位女神,四肢美麗完善,
Delights in and aids the practice of sādhana .
樂於幫助並協助成就法的實踐。

7.21“Those eight goddesses are inside the second zone of the maṇḍala.

7.21「那八位女神位於壇城的第二層內。

“In the east one should draw Indra;
「在東方應該畫帝釋天;
In the southeast, Agni;
在東南方,應畫火天。
In the south, the king Yama;
在南方,閻摩天王。
In the southwest, Rāvaṇa, the king of rākṣasas;
在西南方,應當畫羅剎之王羅波那;
“In the west, the king Varuṇa;
在西方,水天王。
In the northwest, the god Vāyu;
在西北方,風天;
In the north, Kubera;
在北方,俱毗羅天;
And in the northeast, Candra.
在東北方,月天。
“One should place them in their respective places
「應當將他們各自安置在各自的位置」
In the third zone of the maṇḍala.
在壇城的第三圈中。

7.24“The procedure for entering the maṇḍala:

7.24「進入壇城的儀軌:

“Acting as vajra master, one should tie on a blue turban and put on a pair of blue garments. Then, raising the vajra-scepter, one should say the following:

「作為金剛上師,應該戴上藍色頭巾,穿上一對藍色衣服。然後,舉起金剛杵,應該說以下的話:」

“In order to benefit all beings
「為了利益一切眾生
You grant instant accomplishment.
你賜予立即的成就。
O Great Wrath, the vajra of accomplishment,
大威德,成就的金剛杵啊,
Please remain as the pledge deity! [F.246.b]
請留住作為誓言本尊!

7.25“Forming the mudrā of Great Wrath one should then enter the maṇḍala and say, ‘Hūṁ phaṭ!’ As soon as one has pronounced this, Great Wrath will enter oneself.

7.25「結成大威德的手印,然後進入壇城,說『吽跋』。一旦說出這些音,大威德就會進入自己的身體中。」

7.26“Next, one should invite the disciple to enter. After blindfolding the disciple with a deep blue cloth, one should form the mudrā of Great Wrath and place it on the disciple’s head. Then, one should give him vajra water to drink while reciting this mantra:

7.26「接著,應該邀請弟子入壇城。用深藍色的布蒙住弟子的眼睛後,應該結大威德的手印,將其放在弟子的頭上。然後,在誦持以下真言的同時,應該讓他飲用金剛水:

“ Oṁ, remain! Give an accomplishment, hūṁ!”

7.27“One should invite the deity to enter the initiate with the mantra of Wrath’s entry:

7.27「應當以大忿怒尊入身真言邀請本尊進入受灌頂者的身體中:」

“ Oṁ, enter, O Wrath! Hūṁ hūṁ hūṁ! Āḥ!

7.28“With the syllable hūṁ one will even be able to penetrate Mount Sumeru, and to describe events of the past, future, and present.

7.28「用吽字,你甚至能夠穿透須彌山,並且能夠描述過去、未來和現在的事件。」

7.29“Next, one should scatter flowers on the maṇḍala, remove the disciple’s blindfold, and show him his family deity. One should then conduct the pūjā for the ‘name initiation’ and teach the mudrās and the mantras.”

7.29接著,應在壇城上灑花朵,為弟子解除眼罩,向他展示他的本尊。然後應進行「名號灌頂」的供養,並教導手印和真言。

7.30This concludes the chapter from the great sovereign “Bhūtaḍāmara Tantra” that contains detailed instructions on the great maṇḍala.
