我向遍知者頂禮。

p.1I prostrate to the All-Knowing One.

Listen well, for I have heard

諦聽！我曾聽聞

Of a doorway whence we may discern

我們可以從中看到的一扇門

The world-guru, Gone to Bliss,

世間大師，善逝者，

Who wishes nothing but our benefit,

誰只願為我們謀福祉的人，

As he parcels out a full account

當他詳細說明

To those who wandered in, confused,

對於那些流浪其中、困惑迷茫的眾生，

From the vast, bleak wood of wrongful views.

從廣大荒涼的邪見之林中走出來。

His sacred speech, so sound and sweet‍—

This sūtra‍—is The Hundred Deeds.
