The Teaching on the Nature of All Phenomena
一切現象本質的教授
32.1Then the Bhagavān said to the youth Candraprabha, “Therefore, young man, bodhisattva mahāsattvas who wonder, ‘How can I know the nature of all phenomena?’ should listen to this samādhi, the revealed equality of the nature of all phenomena, learn it, understand it, keep it, recite it to others, promote it, proclaim it, chant it, meditate on it with unadulterated meditation, promulgate it, and make it widely known to others.”
32.1薄伽梵對月光童子說："因此，少年啊，想知道'我如何才能認識一切現象的本性？'的菩薩摩訶薩，應當聽受這個三摩地——一切現象本性所示現的平等性，應當學習它、理解它、受持它、為他人誦說它、推廣它、宣傳它、念誦它、以不摻雜的禪修對它進行禪修、傳播它，並使他人廣泛地了知它。"
Thereupon the Bhagavān spoke these verses:
於是薄伽梵說出這些偈頌：
“In the ones who know the peace that is the nature of phenomena
「在那些知曉法性之寧靜的人們之中
No desire arises, no anger arises,
不生欲，不生瞋恨，
Nor in those great leaders does ignorance ever arise.
也不會在那些偉大的領導者心中生起無明。
They have eliminated all kleśas without remainder. {1}
他們已經徹底消除了所有的煩惱。{1}
“They who know the peace that is the nature of phenomena
「瞭解法性寂靜的人們
Are heart children of the Sugata who do not abandon the training.
是善逝的心子，不舍棄修習。
They are heroes who never fall under the power of women.
他們是英勇的聖者，永遠不會被女性的力量所征服。
Everywhere they rejoice in the teaching of the sugatas. {2}
他們在一切處都對善逝的教法感到欣喜。{2}
“They who know the peace that is the nature of phenomena
「他們了知法性的寧靜
Are wise, sagacious, and know the way of wisdom.
具有智慧，聰慧睿智，通曉慧的道路。
They see infinite, endless buddhas
他們看見無量、無盡的佛陀。
And know infinite dhāraṇīs and wisdom. {3}
並且了知無邊的陀羅尼和慧。{3}
“They who know the peace that is the nature of phenomena
「他們瞭解法性的寂靜
Will before long become a lord of humans.
不久將成為人天之主。
They know the skills of healing and bestow happiness,
他們通曉醫療的技能，並施予幸福快樂。
And they are able to remove all the pain of suffering. {4}
他們能夠消除一切苦難的痛楚。
“They who know the peace that is the nature of phenomena
「那些瞭解法性之平和的人們」
Know that sentient beings are suffering.
要知道，所有的生命都在經歷苦。
They always beat the drum of the elixir.
他們常常敲響甘露之鼓。
They will before long become a guide. {5}
他們不久將成為導師。{5}
“They are the supreme physicians, skilled in healing.
「他們是最高明的醫生，擅長治療。
They know the origin of all illnesses and how to be freed from them. [F.102.b]
他們知道一切病的根源，以及如何從中解脫。
They have wisdom and train correctly.
他們具有慧，並正確地修訓。
Having trained they liberate many lost beings. {6}
經過修習，他們解脫了許多迷失的生命。{6}
“They who know the peace that is the nature of phenomena

Are wise heroes who are skilled in the nature of emptiness.
是智慧的勇士，善於通達空的法性。
They have no attachment to the world and always their food is alms,
他們對世界沒有執著，常以乞食為生。
And they bring many beings to supreme enlightenment. {7}
他們將眾多生命引導至至高的菩提。{7}
“They who know the peace that is the nature of phenomena
「那些了解和平乃是法性之人
Are moons among people, superior through the power of patience.
他們是人中明月，因忍的力量而超越他人。
They are not angry even if struck with stones and sticks,
即使被石頭和木棍擊打，他們也不會生起瞋怒。
And they are not disturbed even if their limbs are severed. {8}
即使四肢被截斷，他們也不會感到困擾。{8}
“They who know the peace that is the nature of phenomena
他們懂得法性的寧靜
Have the strength of being established in the strength of patience.
具有確立於忍的力量之中的力量。
Not seeing a thing that is tolerated, they are perfectly at peace.
不見有所忍的事物，他們完全處於安樂中。
They are wise heroes who do not become proud of the strength of their patience. {9}

“They who know the peace that is the nature of phenomena,
了解法性之和平的生命，
Never have in mind the idea ‘I am cutting through things’;
心中永遠不要存有「我在切斷事物」的念頭；
For them all things are nonexistent, always empty,

And they have eliminated every single conceptual identification. {10}

“Such are they who teach the supreme nature of phenomena.

They will before long reach the highest enlightenment.
他們不久將證得至高的菩提。
They comprehend the scope of the nature of phenomena.
他們領悟法性的範圍。
They give a gift that is infinite and endless. {11}
他們布施的禮物是無限無盡的。{11}
“They who know the peace that is the nature of phenomena
「他們認識到法性中的寧靜
Teach infinite millions of sūtras
傳授無數百萬部的經
That are more numerous than sand grains in the Ganges,
其數量比恆河沙粒還要多，
And there is no interruption in their eloquence. {12}
他們的辯才沒有中斷。
“They who know the peace that is the nature of phenomena
「他們懂得法性的寧靜
Have wisdom as high as Sumeru,
具有如蘇迷盧般高的慧，
Constantly for a hundred trillion eons,
恆常經歷一百兆劫，
And their teaching of the Dharma knows no end. {13}
而且他們對法的教導沒有窮盡。{13}
“They who know the peace that is the nature of phenomena
他們能夠認識到法性所具有的寧靜安祥
Have a vast, abundant, inconceivable eloquence.
具有廣大、豐富、不可思議的辯才。
They constantly seek supreme enlightenment
他們不斷追求至高的菩提
And teach infinite millions of sūtras. {14}
並教導無量百千萬部經。{14}
“They who know that these phenomena have no substance
「他們知道這些現象沒有實質
Perfectly hear and remember the entirety
完全聽聞並記住全部
Of the Dharma that the lords of humans have taught [F.103.a]
對於人類的主宰所教導的法
And do not doubt even a single word. {15}
不會對一個字產生懷疑。{15}
“They who know that phenomena are always empty
「了知現象常是空性的人們
Are at all times uniquely superior in their generosity.
在任何時候都是獨特優越的佈施者。
They are patrons who give happiness to those who suffer.
他們是施予者，給予那些受苦的生命幸福。
When they see beings suffer they satisfy them with jewels. {16}
當他們看到生命在受苦時，就用寶滿足他們。{16}
“They who know that phenomena are always empty
「他們懂得現象始終是空的
Will always become the kings of Jambudhvaja.
將永遠成為閻浮提的國王。
At all times they have love for all the living
他們時刻對所有生命懷有愛心。
And always bring infinite happiness to beings. {17}
並且總是為眾生帶來無限的幸福。{17}
“They who know that phenomena are always empty
「那些知道現象總是空性的人
Are heroes who give away their sons, daughters, and slaves.
他們是英雄，捨棄自己的兒子、女兒和奴僕。
Those great leaders’ minds never waver,
那些偉大領導者的心永遠不會動搖，
As they give away their hands, their feet, their head, and their kingdom. {18}
當他們捨棄自己的雙手、雙腳、頭顱和王國時。{18}
“They who know that phenomena are always empty
他們知道現象始終是空性的
Have no anger in their mind, even in a dream,
即使在夢中，心裡也沒有瞋恨，
Even though their limbs are cut from their body;
即便他們的四肢從身體上被割離；
For them it is an offering to the guides, the lords of humans. {19}
對他們來說，這是對導師、人中之主的供養。{19}
“They who know that phenomena are always empty
他們明白現象始終是空性的
Make offerings to all the guides of the past,
供養過去所有的導師，
Make offerings to the lords of humans in the future,
對未來的人類領導者進行供養，
And venerate all the guides in the present. {20}
並且尊敬現在的所有導師。{20}
“They who hear and retain this sūtra in the degenerate times
他們在末法時代聽聞並受持此經
Are wise individuals who possess the treasure of the sugatas.
是聰慧的個人，擁有善逝的寶藏。
They are established in the supreme retentions,
他們已經確立在最高的陀羅尼中，
And before long will become guides of the worlds. {21}
不久就會成為諸世界的導師。{21}
“They who do not forget but teach this sūtra
他們若不遺忘並教導此經
Are wise individuals who will never become blind.
是具有智慧的人，永遠不會變得盲目。
Throughout many eons they will not lose a limb,
在無數劫中，他們不會失去肢體，
And will always avoid the eight disadvantageous states. {22}
並且總是遠離八種不利的狀態。{22}
“They will never be reborn in the lower existences.
他們永遠不會在下三道中投生。
They will always have a beautiful body with the primary signs of a great being.
他們將始終具有美好的身體，具有大生命的相好。
They will always cultivate the five higher cognitions,
他們將始終修習五通，
And those heroes will always be in the presence of the sugatas. {23}
而且這些菩薩將始終親臨善逝的座前。{23}
“Endowed with wisdom they will manifest many emanations
他們擁有慧，將會顯現許多化身
That will go to millions of realms to guide beings.
將前往數百萬個世界去導引眾生。
Of all those who see this multitude of buddha emanations, [F.103.b]
見到這些佛陀化身眾多的所有人，
That many beings will be brought to supreme enlightenment. {24}
許多生命將被帶入最高的菩提。
They who hear and retain this sūtra in the degenerate times
在末法時代聽聞並受持此經的人們
Will be endowed with memory, understanding, wisdom, and constancy.
將具備憶持、理解、慧和堅定不移。
They will become powerful through the strength of their diligence.
他們將透過精進的力量而變得強大。
They will have great brilliance and they will reach the culmination of the Dharma. {25}
他們將擁有偉大的光輝，並且將達到法的究竟圓滿。
They who hold this samādhi of peace in the degenerate time
在末法時代持守這個寂靜三摩地的人
Are heroes established in the brahmavihāras.
是已經建立在梵住中的英雄。
They quickly attain the eight and two bhūmis,
他們迅速證得十地。
And swiftly subjugate the māras. {i}
迅速地降伏魔。
Those who always meditate on this sūtra of peace
那些經常修習這部和平的經的人
Will attain power and possess the highest strengths.
將獲得力量，擁有最高的力量。
They will always be ones who are intent on benefiting beings,
他們將始終是致力於利益眾生的人。
And will realize the highest enlightenment at the foot of the Bodhi tree. {ii}
並且將在菩提樹下證得最高的菩提。
“Those who meditate that these phenomena are empty
那些觀想這些現象是空性的人
Constantly radiate ten billion light rays
不斷放射出百億道光明
And eclipse even the disks of the suns.
並且超越太陽的光盤。
Those heroes will, before long, become guides of the worlds. {26}
那些英雄將不久之後成為世界的導師。{26}
“In the past I practiced this field of peace
「過去我修習過這個寂靜的境界
For many quintillions of eons.
經過無數的劫。
My diligence upon this path was unceasing
我在這條道路上的精進從未間斷
And Dīpaṃkara prophesied I would become a jina. {27}
燃燈佛為我授記，我將成為勝者。{27}
“You also should follow my practice of this sūtra,
「你們也應當如我一樣修習這部經，」
This teaching that leads to the profound ultimate truth.
這個導向深奧勝義諦的教法。
There are many tīrthikas who are lost in error concerning this.
有許多外道因為對這個法門的誤解而迷失了方向。
They revile enlightenment and fall into the terrible lower realms. {28}
他們辱罵菩提，墮入可怕的惡趣。{28}
“During many quintillions of eons
「在許多千億劫的時間裡
They will experience unendurable sufferings of heat.
他們將經歷難以忍受的熱苦。
And even after many millions of eons have passed
經歷許多百萬劫之後
They will still not die for that reason. {29}
他們仍然不會因此而死亡。{29}
“Those who in the terrible latter times
「那些在可怕的末法時代
Protect this sūtra of the Sugata, this state of peace,
保護善逝的這部經，這個安樂的境界，
Will attain the highest enlightenment without difficulty.
將證得最高的菩提，毫不費力。
They are the prophesied holders of the Dharma in the future.” {30}
他們是未來預言中的法的持有者。
