The Teaching on Correct Conduct
正行的教導
28.1“Young man, there are ten benefits for bodhisattva mahāsattvas from perfectly pure, correct conduct. What are the ten benefits? They are: [1] they devote themselves to wisdom and perfect it; [2] they follow the example of the buddhas; [3] they do not criticize the wise; [4] they do not waver from their vows; [5] they maintain their practice; [6] they turn away from saṃsāra; [7] they are led to attain nirvāṇa; [8] they live without faults arising; [F.89.a] [9] they attain samādhi; and [10] they will never be poor.
28.1「年輕人，菩薩摩訶薩從完全清淨的正行中獲得十項利益。這十項利益是什麼呢？它們是：[1]他們專注於慧並使其圓滿；[2]他們追隨佛陀的榜樣；[3]他們不批評智者；[4]他們不動搖於誓願；[5]他們維持自己的修行；[6]他們遠離輪迴；[7]他們被引領去證得涅槃；[8]他們生活中不生起過失；[9]他們證得三摩地；[10]他們永遠不會貧窮。
28.2“Young man, those are the ten benefits for the bodhisattva mahāsattvas who have perfectly pure, correct conduct.”
28.2「少年啊，這些就是具有完全清淨、正行的菩薩摩訶薩所獲得的十種利益。」
It was said concerning this:
“They bring wisdom to perfection,「他們使慧波羅蜜圓滿，
Follow the example of the buddhas,要效法佛陀的榜樣，
Do not criticize those who are wise,不要批評那些智慧的人，
And they are always without fear. {1}他們總是沒有恐懼。{1}
“They do not waver from their vows,「他們不會動搖自己的誓言，
They maintain their practice,他們堅持修行實踐
They are led to attain nirvāṇa,他們被引導而證得涅槃，
And they turn away from saṃsāra. {2}他們遠離輪迴。{2}
“They live without faults arising,他們無有過失生起，
They quickly attain samādhi,他們迅速證得三摩地，
They will not be poor,他們不會貧窮，
And they maintain correct conduct. {3}他們保持正行。{3}
“Their wisdom will be perfected,「他們的慧會圓滿，
And they follow the example of the buddhas.他們遵循佛陀的典範。
They never make criticisms of the wise,他們從不毀謗智者。
And thus their conduct is completely pure. {4}如此他們的行為完全清淨。{4}
“The wise ones never waver from their vows.「智慧的人從不違背他們的誓願。
The heroic ones maintain their practice.英勇的人堅持修持。
Seeing the many faults of saṃsāra看到輪迴的許多過失
They go toward nirvāṇa. {5}他們趨向涅槃。{5}
“There are no faults that arise in their minds;「他們的心中沒有產生任何過失；
Thus, they maintain the strength of correct conduct,因此，他們保持正行的力量，
And quickly attain an immaculate samādhi.並且快速證得清淨的三摩地。
Those are the benefits of pure, correct conduct.” {6}這些就是清淨正行的利益。{6}
