The Elucidation of the Buddha’s Smile
佛陀微笑的闡釋
15.1At that time the Bhagavān spoke these appropriate verses to Bodhisattva Maitreya:
15.1當時薄伽梵對彌勒菩薩說出了這些恰當的偈頌：
“This youth, Candraprabha,
「這位青年月光，」
Has praised the Buddha with unequaled joy.
以無等的喜悅讚歎佛陀。
He described the unique superior qualities of the buddhas.
他詳述了諸佛陀的獨特殊勝功德。
All the time he is reciting their praises. {1}
他一直在念誦他們的讚歎。
“In this very city of Rājagṛha in the past
「在這王舍城中，過去曾經
He has seen ten thousand million buddhas.
他已經見到了一千萬位佛陀。
In the presence of all those jinas
在所有勝者的面前
He asked about this supreme samādhi of peace. {2}
他曾請問過這個究竟的平靜三摩地。{2}
“He has always been my son,
「他一直都是我的兒子，
Practicing this supreme bodhisattva conduct.
修持這至高無上的菩薩行。
He has always had the confidence of speech,
他一直都具有言語的信心，
And always he has been practicing celibacy. {3} [F.51.b]
他始終在修持梵行。
“In the very fearful future times
「在極其恐怖的未來時代
You, Ajita, will be my witness.
你，阿逸多，將是我的見證者。
Always remaining in a state of celibacy,
始終保持梵行的狀態，
He will make this samādhi widespread. {4}
他將使這個三摩地廣為流傳。{4}
“Those who seek entry into this sublime samādhi,
「那些尋求進入這殊勝三摩地的人，」
Through that path will attain enlightenment.
通過那條道路將會獲得菩提。
He will be adopted by many millions of buddhas
他將被千萬尊佛陀所攝受。
And he will make supreme offerings to those guides. {5}
他將對那些導師做出最殊勝的供養。{5}
“I prophesy that, remaining in wisdom,
我預言，安住於慧中，
Candraprabha’s conduct will be exceptional.
月光的行為將會非常卓越。
In the future times there will be no obstacle
未來的時代將沒有任何障礙
To his celibacy or to his life. {6}
對他的梵行或他的生命。{6}
“He will know millions of buddhas as clearly
他將清晰地認識數百萬位佛陀。
As five myrobalan plums in the palm of the hand.
如同五個訶子果在手掌中。
And he will make offerings in the future to even more,
他將在未來對更多的佛陀進行供養，
As numerous as sand grains in the Ganges. {7}
如同恆河沙粒一樣眾多。{7}
“Eight hundred million devas and nāgas,
八億天神與龍，
And seven hundred billion yakṣas,
以及七百億位夜叉，
In future times will be zealous
在未來的時代裡將會變得精進
And make offerings to the supreme among humans. {8}
並向人中至尊作供養。{8}
“He will make offerings to the supreme human
他將供養至高無上的人類
And will practice this unsurpassable wisdom.
並將修習這無上的慧。
In a future time he will become a Lord of the World,
在未來的時候，他將成為世界的主宰。
A jina by the name of Vimalaprabha.” {9}
一位名叫無垢光佛的勝者。"
The young man was overjoyed
那位年輕人欣喜萬分
On hearing this prophecy about himself.
聽到關於自己的授記。
Candraprabha floated up to the height of seven palm trees
月光浮升到七棵棕櫚樹的高度
And remaining in the sky he made this declaration: {10}
他停留在空中，發出了這樣的宣言：
“O Jina, you who teach the supreme Dharma,
「尊敬的勝者啊，您教導至高無上的法，
You have the power of a lord of liberating wisdom.
您擁有解脫慧的主宰力量。
You remain in the certainty of supreme wisdom
你安住於無上智的確定性中
And cannot be defeated by adversaries. {11}
而且不會被對敵所戰勝。{11}
“You have abandoned attachment and reached liberation.
「你已捨棄執著，獲得解脫。」
You have no attachment to existence, which is devoid of things.
你對於無物之有，毫無執著。
You have no conceptualization whatsoever.
你完全沒有任何戲論。
You have the wisdom of nonattachment toward the three existences. {12}
你具備了對三有無執著的慧。{12}
“You are unstained by any conceptualization.
你不為任何戲論所沾染。
You are free of all conceptualized views.
你遠離一切戲論的見解。
You have meditated perfectly on the path that has no location.
你已完美地修習了無所住的道路。
You cannot be defeated or hindered by anyone. {13}
沒有任何人能夠擊敗或阻礙你。{13}
“You have no residence in the three realms.
你在三界中沒有住處。
You are free from the floods and the knots.
你已經脫離了洪流和繩結。
You have cut through the bondage of the creepers of craving. [F.52.a]
你已經斷除了貪欲藤蔓的束縛。
You are free of existence and are devoid of existence. {14}
你超越了有，也不具有有。
“You know the nonexistence that is the nature of phenomena.
「你了知作為法性的無。
You make understood in words that which cannot be described.
你用言語表達那無法描述的事物。
Just as the lion destroys the jackal,
如獅子摧毀豺狼，
You defeat the unwise tīrthikas. {15}
你擊敗了愚昧的外道。{15}
“I have obtained today the highest treasure,
「我今日已獲得最高的法寶藏，
The treasure of the Dharma taught by the Sugata.
善逝所教授的法寶藏。
I am freed from falling into any of the lower existences.
我已經從墮落到任何較低有的危險中解脫出來。
I will never have doubts that you are my guide. {16}
我永遠不會懷疑你是我的導師。{16}
“He placed upon my head his hand,
「他把手放在我的頭上，
Which was shining, beautiful, the color of gold.
它光芒閃耀、美麗絢爛，色澤如同黃金。
He gave me the consecration to be a supreme leader of humans,
他賜予我成為人類最高領導者的灌頂。
With the world and its devas as witnesses.” {17}
以世界和天神作為見證者。」{17}
