Prologue
p.1[F.187.a] I pay homage to Glorious Vajrasattva!
p.1我禮敬光榮的金剛薩埵！
p.2Thus did I hear at one time. The Blessed One dwelt in equanimity in the womb of the Vajra Lady , which is the enlightened body, speech, and mind of all tathāgatas.
p.2我這樣聽聞：一時，世尊安住於金剛女的子宮中，即一切如來的身語意，處於平等心的狀態中。
Then, the entourage, including the bodhisattva Vajragarbha and others, performed three circumambulations counterclockwise, made outer, inner, and secret offerings, and asked the following:
於是，以菩薩金剛藏為首的眷屬，逆時針進行了三次繞行，獻上外、內、密三種供養，並提出了以下問題：
“O Blessed Vajra Holder!
「尊敬的金剛持！
What is ‘secret’?
什麼是「秘密」？
How is it resolved?
它如何得到解決？
What is the meaning of ‘tantra’?
密續的含義是什麼？
And what is its king?”
它的國王是什麼呢？
