隨喜

26.1Then the Bhagavān said to the youth Candraprabha, “Therefore, young man, bodhisattva mahāsattvas who wish for this samādhi, and wish to attain quickly the highest, complete enlightenment of perfect buddhahood, should be skillful in methods. [F.87.a]

26.1薄伽梵對月光少年說:「因此,少年,菩薩摩訶薩若想要獲得這個三摩地,想要迅速成就無上正等正覺的佛果,應當善於方便。」

26.2“Young man, in what way should bodhisattva mahāsattvas be skillful in methods? For that, young man, bodhisattva mahāsattvas focus their minds upon all beings. Those bodhisattva mahāsattvas rejoice in whatever roots of merit and accumulations of merit all beings have. Three times every day and three times every night they rejoice in whatever roots of merit and accumulations of merit all beings have, and the roots of merit and accumulation of merit that come from their taking omniscience as the focus of their aspiration they donate to all beings.

26.2「少年,菩薩摩訶薩應該用什麼方式善於方便呢?少年,為了這個原因,菩薩摩訶薩應該把心專注於一切生命。那些菩薩摩訶薩隨喜一切生命所擁有的一切福德根和福德積聚。他們每天三次、每晚三次隨喜一切生命所擁有的一切福德根和福德積聚,並且將他們以遍知作為願心焦點而產生的福德根和福德積聚迴向給一切生命。」

26.3“Young man, because those bodhisattva mahāsattva possess the accumulation of merit that comes from being skillful in methods, they will quickly attain this samādhi, and they will quickly attain the highest, complete enlightenment of perfect buddhahood.”

26.3「年輕人,因為那些菩薩摩訶薩具有善巧方便所得的福德積聚,他們將迅速證得這個三摩地,並將迅速證得無上正等正覺的佛果。」

26.4Thereupon the Bhagavān spoke these verses:

“Three times a day and three times a night

I develop the aspiration to enlightenment
我發起菩提願心
And rejoice in the entirety of the merit accumulated
並隨喜一切所積聚的福德
By all these beings who are my family. {1}
這些都是我的親眷的生命。
“I rejoice in those who have pure conduct,
我讚歎那些具有清淨戒的人,
Who will do nothing bad even to save their lives.
即使為了救命也不會做任何壞事的人。
I rejoice in whatever merit is possessed
我歡喜一切生命所擁有的福德
By bodhisattvas with perfect aspiration. {2}
由具足圓滿願心的菩薩所成就。{2}
“I rejoice in those who have faith in the Buddha,
我隨喜那些對佛陀有信心的人。
Faith in the Dharma, and also the Saṅgha.
對法的信心,以及對僧伽的信心。
I rejoice in those who make offerings to the Sugata
我歡喜那些向善逝作供養的人
Because of their desire for enlightenment. {3}
因為他們對菩提的欲望。{3}
“I rejoice in those who develop the aspiration
我對那些培養願心的人歡喜。
For the highest, supreme, unsurpassable enlightenment,
為了最高、至上、無可比擬的菩提,
Doing so with great understanding, for the sake of beings,
以偉大的智慧做這一切,為了眾生的緣故,
And so that the lineage of enlightenment will remain. {i}
為使菩提的傳承能夠延續。
“I rejoice in the bodhisattvas overwhelmed by compassion
我為被慈悲所淹沒的菩薩們歡喜讚歎
Who give away their wealth, grain, and jewels,
他們布施自己的財富、糧食和寶物的人,
Their queens, sons, and daughters,
她們的王后、兒子和女兒,
Their vast kingdoms, and even their own flesh. {ii}

“I rejoice in those who give away their own bodies

With joyful minds for the sake of beings,

Having trained in the training of skillful methods [F.87.b]

And subdued their bodies through meditation on wisdom. {iii}

“I rejoice in those who live in the forest,

Always alone and solitary like a rhinoceros,

Always with pure livelihood and few activities,

Without acting hypocritically for the sake of reputation. {6}

“I rejoice in those who have no entanglements,
「我讚歎那些沒有牽掛的人,
Who have no envy or yearning for a home,
沒有嫉妒,不渴望家宅的人,
Who are always terrified of the three realms
經常恐懼三界的人
And act without attachment to the world. {7}
而且行動不執著於世界。{7}
“I rejoice in those who are without complication
「我讚歎那些沒有複雜煩惱的人
And are saddened by every rebirth into existence.
並且為每一次投生到有中而感到悲傷。
This samādhi will not be difficult to attain
這個三摩地將不難獲得
For those who do not dispute but have peaceful minds. {8}
對於那些不爭執而心地平和的人。{8}
“I rejoice in those who see the harmfulness of crowds,
「我為看見群體危害的人而歡喜,
Who avoid every kind of disagreement,
遠離所有的分歧爭執者,
Who live in solitude, dwelling at the foot of trees,
住在獨處中,居住在樹下的人。
And who are heirs of the sugatas focused upon liberation. {9}
他們是善逝的繼承者,專注於解脫。{9}
“I rejoice in those who live in solitude,
「我讚歎那些獨處而生活的人,
Neither praising themselves nor criticizing others.
既不讚美自己,也不批評他人。
I rejoice in those who are not careless
我讚喜那些不放逸的人
But careful in the Buddha’s teaching. {10}
但在佛陀的教法中精進。{10}
“That carefulness is the very root
「這精進就是一切覺支品質的根本
Of all the qualities of the aspects of enlightenment.
所有覺支品質中最根本的。
This samādhi is not difficult to attain
這個三摩地不難獲得
For any heirs of the Buddha who are always careful. {11}
對於那些總是精進的佛陀弟子而言。{11}
“The teaching of the Sugata is a treasure that has been found.
「善逝的教法是已經發現的珍寶。
Attaining homelessness is a second treasure.
獲得出家是第二個寶藏。
The attainment of faith is a third treasure.
信心的獲得是第三種寶藏。
This samādhi is a fourth treasure. {12}
這個三摩地是第四個寶藏。{12}
“On learning of emptiness, of the field of activity of the buddhas,
對空性的學習,對佛陀行動領域的認識,
If it is not rejected, that is a treasure that has been found.
如果沒有被捨棄,那就是已經獲得的寶藏。
Endless eloquence is a treasure that has been found,
無盡的辯才是已經發現的寶藏,
And any dhāraṇī is a supreme treasure. {13}
任何陀羅尼都是至高無上的寶藏。{13}
“That carefulness is the very root
「那種精進就是根本
Of all the virtuous qualities that have been proclaimed,
在所有已經宣說過的德行品質中,
And of correct conduct, learning, giving, and patience.
正行、慧學、布施和忍的根本。
The Sugata has taught that it is a treasure that has been found. {14}
善逝已經教導說那是已被發現的寶藏。
“For those who are careful in the Buddha’s teaching,
「對於那些在佛陀教法中謹慎的人們,
For those who have perfect aspirations, [F.88.a]
對於那些具有圓滿願心的人,
This samādhi will not be difficult to obtain.
這個三摩地不難獲得。
They are established in the Buddha’s teaching.” {15}
