32.1At that time the blessed Śākyamuni again directed his gaze at the realm of the Pure Abode and spoke to Mañjuśrī, the divine youth: {32.1}
32.1爾時,世尊釋迦牟尼又將目光轉向淨居天,並對妙吉祥天童文殊師利說道:{32.1}
32.2“Your mantras, Mañjuśrī, hold the key to the complete understanding of all the tantras; they possess the secrets of all the vidyā s, and, in consequence, they can also cause the ripening of all the results of good qualities accumulated over a long period of time. I will now authoritatively teach the factors of accomplishment, which are as follows: {32.2}
32.2「文殊師利,你的咒語掌握著完全理解所有密續的關鍵;它們擁有所有明咒的秘密,因此,它們也能夠使長期累積的所有善質所得之果成熟。我現在將以權威的方式教授成就的因素,具體如下:」
“As time is not its primary cause,「因為時間並非其主要因素,」
Accomplishment can arise in another life.成就可以在來生出現。
The governing principle is rather that it arises根本的原則是它由先前建立的因緣而生
Subject to previously created causes. {32.3}受先前所造的因所制約。{32.3}
“One who lacks benefits can attain accomplishment「缺乏利益的人可以獲得成就
Through correctly ascertaining the right means.通過正確確認對所有眾生都正確的方法。
The means attested as right for all beings對一切眾生成立的正確方便
Is to resort to you, the divine youth. {32.4}就是依止你,童子。{32.4}
“What is here called the right means「這裡所謂的正確方法
Is the ritual activity performed in advance.是預先進行的儀式活動。
One who is steadfastly engaged in this way如是堅固精進者
Will obtain the supreme accomplishment. {32.5}將獲得最高的成就。{32.5}
“Ritual activity accomplishes that which has not been accomplished;儀式成就那未曾成就的事物;
There is no accomplishment without ritual activity.沒有儀式,就沒有成就。
There must be the activity and its agent—必須要有成就的活動及其行為者——
When these are present, accomplishment will be achieved. {32.6}當這些都具足時,成就就會得到實現。{32.6}
“One will obtain the highest level「人能得到最高的境界
Through applying the right procedure.通過應用正確的程序。
When the mantra practitioner does not say the mantra, [F.236.a] [F.253.a]當持咒者不念誦咒語時,
Even what is not the mantra will become a mantra. {32.7}即使不是咒語的也會成為咒語。

One will not accomplish the mantras,就不會成就咒語,

Will not be able to accomplish the mantra將無法成就咒語

“In stages, they will obtain accomplishment「他們將分階段獲得成就

The mantras will thus establish這樣咒語將建立

“The tathāgatas have thus taught「諸如來曾如此教導
Mantra recitation that never fails.咒語誦持永不失效。

“There are spiritual friends,「有善知識,」

“Such mantras will be accomplished in this very life,「這樣的咒語將在今生就得以成就,」
With the corresponding results arising accordingly.相應的果報就會隨之產生。
Without the result-oriented rite there will be no fruition;沒有具有成果的儀軌就不會有結果;
The rite that does not produce results is useless. {32.22}不能產生結果的儀軌是沒有用處的。{32.22}
“The rite is called attended by results「此儀軌名為具有成果的
When the ritual performance produces results.當儀軌的修習產生成果時。
The reciter of such [rites] will, in this life,誦持這樣的[儀軌]的人,在今生將會
Attain the deathless state {32.23}證得無死的境地 {32.23}
“[Where] the world is said to be blissful,「世界被稱為極樂之處,
And [the reciter] is delivered into a tranquil state.那位誦持者被帶入一個寧靜的境界。
Such a follower of the Buddha’s path這樣的佛陀道路的追隨者

“During the inauspicious lowest eon,「在不吉祥的最劣劫中,

In this very life he will obtain accomplishment在這一生中他將獲得成就

“Until the final liberation there will be peace—「直到最終解脫,將會有和平——
This is the unconditioned, auspicious path.這是無為的、吉祥的道路。
It has been explained to the world已向世間說明瞭
As the pure, auspicious state. {32.26}為純淨、吉祥的狀態。
“The victorious ones taught about buddhahood,「勝者教導佛果,
Explaining everything in full.完整地解釋一切。
At the end of such teaching, and only then,在這樣的教導結束時,也只有到那時,
They taught the accomplishment of mantras. {32.27}他們傳授了咒語的成就。{32.27}
“When the victorious ones are absent,「當勝者不在時,

Toward the end of the eon, one can accomplish the Vajra family .在劫的末期,可以成就金剛部。
The mantras that are subject to the power of [former] aspirations受前世發願力量所支配的咒語
Can be accomplished in any time period. {32.35}在任何時期都能得以成就。{32.35}
“[The mantras of] Avalokiteśvara, Mañjuśrī,「觀世音菩薩、文殊師利的咒語,
Tārā, Bhṛkuṭī, the king of yakṣa s,度母、皺眉母、夜叉之王、
And all the yakṣa -followers of Māṇicara與摩尼車的所有夜叉眷屬
Can, likewise, be accomplished in any period. {32.36}同樣地,可以在任何時期成就。{32.36}
“The mantras and other [such tools] that cater to desires「滿足欲望的咒語和其他(類似的工具)
Are employed by all the [worldly] deities.被所有的世俗神靈所運用。

Bhūtas, gaṇas, and grahas; {32.38}鬼眾、眾神及執曜;
“By both human and nonhuman beings「由人類和非人類眾生
Who inhabit the realm of desire;住於欲界的;
By the powerful beings endowed with merit由具足福德的強大眾生
And by those who fearsomely engage in cruel activities; {32.39}以及那些惶恐地從事殘暴活動的眾生;
“And by Śakra, Brahmā, Rudra,「以及帝釋天、梵天、魯陀羅,」
Īśāna , and others.自在天及其他眾多天神。
Powerful mantras are taught教導強大的咒語
By Viṣṇu and all the bhūtas. {32.40}由毗紐天和所有的鬼所成就。

“In the form of mantras,「以咒語的形式,

32.45This concludes the detailed chapter on the ritual procedures and the rules pertaining to [the particular] time periods, thirty-second in “The Root Manual of Noble Mañjuśrī,” [F.237.b] [F.254.b] an extensive Mahāyāna sūtra that forms a garland-like basket of bodhisattva teachings.
