Summary
s.1The sūtra is introduced with the Buddha residing in Śrāvastī, in Jeta’s Wood, Anāthapiṇḍada’s Park, together with a great assembly of monks and a great multitude of bodhisatvas. The Buddha then addresses the bodhisatva Jayamati, instructs him on nineteen moral prescriptions, and indicates the corresponding effects of practicing these prescriptions when they are cultivated.
s.1該經文以佛陀住在舍衛城、祇樹給孤獨園，與眾多比丘和眾多菩薩聚集在一起開場。佛陀隨後向菩薩吉祥慧開示十九條道德戒律，並說明這些戒律在修習時所產生的相應效果。
